We feel it's important to help out

We've been very fortunate to work with some great customers and to work on some great projects. So we only feel it's fair to give something back when we can. We've listed some of the causes we've helped below, along with information to contact them if you'd like to help them too.

Startup mentoring - iAccelerate

For several years now we've felt it's important to help local small startups to get off the ground. Wollongong has an excellent resource in the iAccelerate incubator program, and we've offered ourselves up as mentors to the startups passing through there.

We've helped several startups to review their designs, improve them and to get their businesses off the ground. All of our mentoring time is offered free.

Second Life Stationery

Second Life Stationery is an excellent organisation who saw a need, and filled it. They recognised that many people have draws full of stationary they mostly don't need anymore - and many kids go to school with little to none of the stationary they need in order to learn. This great not-for-profit organisation helps by collecting that stationary from donations, sorts them and cleans them, and then donates these via organisations who work with under privileged children.

We've helped by becoming a drop-off point, donating our time to help sort stationary, and also by offering to build a new website for SLS (currently in production).

Play Illawarra

Play Illawarra is a local not-for-profit organisation that helps people in the Illawarra to find local playgrounds, based on needs. It's primary goal is to get kids moving, active and outside playing.

We've helped them by donating to create a brand new website, working in tandem with the Natiive Wollongong team, after the previous site was lost.

Adaptoys

Adaptoys is a great organisation that is building toys that allow people living with paralysis to play with their kids and their families. It's bringing some fun into lives that need it, and we think that's awesome.

We helped by donating to their cause to help them keep developing.

Movember

Movember is an organisation that raises funds to help with helping to stop men from dying too young. At the Fore we've lost friends and family too young, and we've seen depression in others (and ourselves) take a heavy toll. We are passionate about this cause.

We helped by getting involved in Movember for the past few years, donating and helping to raise funds from others.

MS Sydney to Wollongong bike ride

Every year our intrepid accountant, Lachlan Stephenson of Shellharbour Accounting, rides the Sydney to 'Gong bike ride to raise funds for people living with MS.

We help by donating to the cause each year.
